In short, I could not be any more pleased and satisfied. You started the process with an excellent presentation, great salesmanship skills, and more than enough knowledge to allay any concerns I had. With your guidance, I believe we put together a system that will continue to meet my needs for years to come. I am particularly impressed with the Rudd heat pump water heater. But for your recommendation, I might have stuck with the standard 50 year old technology and heated water with gas or electric. Now that I have seen the heat pump water heater in action, going with the old technology would have been a big mistake. Thank you.
On May 1, 2023, Jason and his assistant arrived promptly, as promised at 8:30 am. It didn’t take me long to realize Jason was what I consider a dying breed. At he end of each day during this 4-day project, he left my basement neat and clean with the materials and his tools secured for the next day’s work. Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t come across a whole lot of people in the building trades in recent years who are as skilled, knowledgeable, and meticulous as Jason. It was quite evident that he takes pride in making certain every detail of his work is done as a professional. In addition to his skills, he is very personable, taking the time to explain different solutions to the inevitable problems that arise in removing an entire heating, cooling, and hot water system and replacing it with the newest technology. After all the “heavy work” was completed, Jason took the time to explain the interactions between the furnace and the heat pump so that I understood what to expect and how the units would perform. And finally, he walked me through every step of programming the Bryant Connex thermostat. Again, a knowledgeable professional.
The final leg of what I consider a perfect trifecta, is Shana. She kept me informed about my project, but what really impressed me was her lightening fast return on the half-completed rebate applications I gave Jason at about 3:00 pm on the last work day at my house. Via email, Shana returned the application “neat and complete” at about 10:30 am the following morning. I can’t tell you the number of times I have had to follow-up and prod staff to get a return on something I asked for. Anyone who speeds up a process leading to a sizable rebate for me is super. Kudos to Shana!

I had Onofreo HCS install a new Hydro-air system last year to replace my 35 year old system that kept giving me trouble – Mark, his office staff, and his techs were prompt, professional, and clean. Mark showed up to do his estimate, I got the proposal signed, they pulled the permit, dropped off a check, and in three days I had a brand new system installed. I knew what was going on every step. The install looks great and they provided free cleaning and tune up service afterward. I have also referred my mom to them and she was thrilled with the service. I would highly recommend anyone who needs maintenance or a new system to Onofreo HCS.
March 1, 2020 – We put in a last-minute plea for help after our heat decided to stop working today, on a Sunday of all days. Kelly helped organize it and was very efficient. Anthony arrived so fast and was very thorough, informative, and professional. He gave us a ton of good suggestions and even helped us figure out how to use our home’s humidifier system that we had never touched. Now we have heat again, and we might not get zapped by static electricity so much as a bonus. Thank you for the fantastic service!!

Want to give a big shout out and thank you to Onofreo Home Comfort Systems of Milford, CT!! They just installed a new A/C and gas furnace in my home. From Kelly in the office who coordinated and managed the installation, to Tom who first provided me with the proposal for the job, and finally to Bill, Chris, and Ben who completed the installation in just one day, everyone was very professional and accommodating, and took every safety precaution necessary for the time we are living in. Any question or concern I had prior to or during installation was quickly resolved without hesitation. I highly recommend this company for your heating and air conditioning needs.
Exceptional and friendly service from the first message through the appointment. My ancient oil burner started running rough after a fill-up so made an appointment to have it tuned up. Two nights before the scheduled appointment the system stopped working completely and they were able to move up the appointment and get us back up and running the next day. Highly recommend!

Our furnace died over the weekend, Onofreo came out and tried to fix it, it was 30 years old and needed to be replaced. They came out the very next day and replaced the whole system. They were amazing, very nice and professional, the price was much better than I expected, and everything is working great now. The installers took the time to clean up so well it looked like they were never even there. I would highly recommend Onofreo and I will be calling them again next time I need work done, no need to look elsewhere!
Our A/C did not start, and based on the Yelp reviews, I called the Onofreo Comfort System. All the transactions were done through the Yelp’s messenger system. (My choice) Fast and thorough communications, always updating the status of an appointment. Mark, the owner, came to assess the problem. Turned out the mice chewed the wires in the outdoor unit. He told me that the capacitor was still good, no need to get replaced. Very honest and trustworthy. He gave me the accurate estimate, and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend the Onofreo HCS. In fact, I am going to ask them to service the A/C from now on, and also our oil furnace.
